Thank you so much for your love and prayers and gifts! We are deeply grateful for your part in reaching the Hewa people with the love of Jesus. Thank you!

We are so sorry for lack of communication! Our email situation in the Hewa tribe has continued to disintegrate and now we have not been able to receive emails for more than a month. We are terribly sorry for this inconvenience and regret that we have not been able to read emails you may have sent to us. The only time we are able to access correspondence is by making an expensive trip to town, so it may only happen every three or four months.

Our Hewa friends were blessed with the donation of their first real medical clinic! We praise the Lord for the finances that provided this gift and for those that worked alongside Friends in Action to build it. Yanis is in his last month of medical training in town and will soon be coming back to work in the clinic. We praise the Lord for how He has provided for our friends.

Thank you for praying for the fighting in the mountains around our village. We are very pleased to report that the two men that have led the warriors on each side of the war are now in dialogue and working toward a resolution. These kinds of issues are not quickly resolvable, so please continue to pray that the fighting won’t flare up again, and pray people will surrender to God’s authority as they meet to discuss their age-old disputes.

Thank you for joining us in praise and prayer

  • Praise for how the believers are responding to their hardships with obedience and a desire to grow in the Lord.
  • Pray the Lord guides Mikayla as she tries to press forward with her dream to become a missionary doctor.
  • Pray that pure faith in Jesus will spread all through the Hewa language group and into the other tribes around us.

Thank you for your love and prayers and gifts! We deeply appreciate you!
