January 2015

MARRIED!

Another year has come and gone. I trust 2014 was a good year for you and that you 're looking forward to what 2015 has in store.

We continue to represent new Tribes Mission here in the the islands of Hawaii. Finding those willing to go to the mission field is quite a challenge BUT, the Lord is still leading some to go. We were instrumental in challenging a young lady to fill a much needed position in our mission school. Pray as she prepares to go. Give our contact info to anyone you know who may be interested in serving somehow.

These past few years have been challenging for mission airplanes and pilots. Sometimes it's hard to understand why things happen the way they do. Two new airplanes for PNG were donated and a pilot was learning the ropes on how to fly them when he had a motorcycle accident. A tourniquet had to be applied but as it took so long to get him to Australia, he ended up losing a leg. Pray for Jon and his family as well as the flight program and more pilots.

The ongoing discussion around our house is Mariko's wedding of January 3, 2015. The wedding was small, outdoors, lovely and emotional for me. Thank you for praying for her all these years. Please continue to pray for her and Elijah as they begin their lives together.

Micah has been married three years now. Jared works as a diesel mechanic in the evenings and is taking full time classes for engineering. Mieko is finishing up her prerequisiste courses and this August will be going to the mainland to study ultrasound.

I am considering taking a work team to PNG this summer. So if you ever wanted to go to this exotic land, this may be your chance. If you're interested in going, contact me for more details.

Thank you for standing with us as we passed our 30 year mark with New Tribes Mission.

Because He said, "GO,"
