Today I am down nursing my back. Every now and then an old PNG wound surfaces. I remember the day I lifted a load of corrugated iron up so I could shut the tailgate on the truck. Immediately I knew something was hurt and after a trip to the bush, I was on my back for two weeks fearful my missionary career was over. Gratefully, the pain subsided but occasionally I’m reminded of that fateful day. So today I spent some time looking at old photos of our life in Papua New Guinea and thankful for people like you who stood behind us.

Dear Friends,

This first quarter of the year is our Birthday season. Mieko turned 18 in February and for her special day we went to I-trampoline. The kids jumped for an hour and realized jumping can be quite tiring as you get older. Joan and I sat on the side lines ... taking pictures.
