Greetings from Tucson!

We are enjoying 70 and 80 degree weather this week in the Sonoran Desert! We have to remember days like today when it hits the 100’s this summer.

In January, Bart spent a week in El Paso, TX for pilot’s meetings. They usually get together once a year to strategize, talk over safety procedures, etc… They also seem to squeeze in some good restaurants and have some fun together. This year they enjoyed being involved in a ping pong tournament!

We continue to help in providing support to missionaries and Native pastors who are ministering to the remote tribal people of Mexico. God’s Word continues to go out in the mountains of Mexico….thank you for your part!

Bart will be helping represent UIM Aviation at the EAA Oshkosh Airshow in July. Oshkosh is not far from our home church and Kim’s home town of Oostburg, WI. So, we will be making a road trip! Yes, we will be travelling with Blake; this will be our first trip with Blake since his injury. We will be driving out in Blake’s van so we can transport him while we are there. We will be spending a Sunday in our home church, visiting friends and family, and celebrating Kim’s parents' 50th wedding anniversary! We pray Blake will stay healthy and do well with the many hours in the van.

We do hope to eventually get to see many of you in the future. We know so many of you around the world have had a vital part in praying for Blake and his recovery – thank you!

Please see “Pray for Blake Haines” on Facebook or google “Blake Haines” and click on “ Pray for Blake Haines Facebook” to read his latest updates.

"Trusting God when the miracle does not come, when the urgent prayer gets no answer, when there is only darkness – this is the kind of faith God values perhaps most of all.
This is the kind of faith that can be developed and displayed only in the midst of difficult circumstances. This is the kind of faith that cannot be shaken because it is the result of having been shaken."Nancy Guthrie

Happy Easter to all! Because He lives we can face tomorrow! HE IS RISEN!

You can be a part of Bart and Kim’s work. They can be helped by your prayers and interest and financial support if you are led to help in that way. They would deeply appreciate your involvement in their lives.

This link is a direct link to UIM's website where online donations can be given directly toward Bart and Kim’s ministry. The only concern with including this is that people not see it as a plea for funds. Instead it has been included as a way to facilitate those who give but would rather not have to deal with writing a check and mailing in a donation. UIM has set up a way through the Mission's web site where folks can give online. The Mission will in turn see that the funds get to Bart and Kim and that the donor receives a tax-receipt.
