God has allowed Dan to use the talents that he has given him in the field of construction. After mission training, they went to Waukesha, Wisconsin to NTM's Bible School for about 3 years. Arla served as Dean of single ladies and Dan headed up a major renovation of their beautiful, old 4-story building. Then, in 1994, the Dials went to Papua New Guinea for 7 years where Dan helped develop the Interface Campus. Arla was financial secretary for the ITF Campus and Dan was in charge of building, development and maintenance. In 2001, Dan and Arla returned stateside to the New Tribes Bible Institute in Waukesha for an additional two years where Arla continued work in the finance office and Dan resumed his duties as head of the Building & Maintenance Department.
