Hello Family and Friends,

We want to give you a quick update of what is happening here in Haiti. Many of you were such a big part of our lives from February to August that it seems strange to suddenly leave and break communication after dropping in on you nearly every day or at least being just a phone call away. But, we hold those memories in our minds and hearts. Some good memories amongst the painful ones of worrying about Haiti, being separated from Howard, and the passing away of our Mem and Beppe, as well as a fellow missionary, Eileen Wiersma.

Greetings from Port-au-Prince, Haiti! We are back and in full swing of school, work, church, friends, etc. We are thankful that our house is coming together and beginning to feel like home. We had a safe and uneventful trip back. We are finding our friends, co-workers, and their families are all doing well. Our church has grown and there are many new members who want to be involved in ministry.
