The dorm project
With grades 9 and 10 added to Malango School came the need of a high school dorm. Several parents had indicated that they would like to send their high school age children to Malango School, provided there would be a dorm.
The old dorm building, which had been used years ago as elementary school dorm, was not adequate. We wanted to have the dorm on one floor level, which meant that we had to extend the existing building.
Construction of the new dorm wing started at the end of April 2007. At the beginning of August the dorm parents and children were able to move in. We praise the Lord for the finances and all the labour that He provided. We would like to finish the groundfloor as well if we have the finances. Please let us know if you would like to contribute towards this project.
The following pictures will give you an impression of the progress that was made in four months time.
